Performing a Factory Reset - Halocam IP
Start with the Halocam IP camera disconnected from power.
Plug power in for 30 seconds, then remove power and immediately plug power back in.
Wait another 30 seconds, then remove again and immediately plug power back in. repeat once more and then on the fourth time you plug power in, leave it plugged in this time.
The unit should then go back to its factory default settings, meaning it will automatically search for a free IP address (DHCP) on your network, OR If it’s simply plugged into your laptop via a crossover cable it will revert IP address 192.168.0.200.
You can confirm this by performing a “Discover”, using the IP Camera Configuration Tool.
