C-Series - Creating New Users

NOTE: You must have created a primary administrator to access the camera in the first instance. The Primary administrator account is considered the root account for the camera. This account is permanent and cannot be deleted. To delete this account, reset the camera. (See How to Reset Camera Via User Interface guide) 

 

Process

  1. Log into the camera web page. 

  1. On the left-hand menu, click on Users. 

  1. On the top right-hand corner, click on Create New User.

  1. Enter Username and Password. 

Note: The password MUST be a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 32 characters. It MUST include at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lower case letter and one special character.  

  1. Select Access Level as appropriate. The access level are Administrator, Operator and User. We recommend giving least privilege to users. 

  1. Click on Create New User
